Route Itinerary

Drive from Kathmandu to Chame through Besisahar (160 km, 700 m altitude, 6 hours)

On this day we will start our journey early in the morning from Kathmandu towards Besisahar and Chame through Prithivi Highway. Along the highway you will see beautiful rivers, green hills, terraced farms and traditional nepali villages. The road in some parts is a rough mountain trail with spectacular views of waterfalls, forests and deep river gorges as we get ready for lunch again on the way.And we will arrive in Chame by late afternoon and stay overnight there to enjoy local foods and culture.

Off-Road Adventure from Chame to Manang

After having breakfast we will continue to an exciting off-road drive to the lovely valley of Manang. On the way you will see Pisang and Braga and are accompanied with the spectacular view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Tilicho and other Himalayan peaks. Enjoy the dramatic alpine scenery, waterfalls, suspension bridges and Tibetan-influenced settlements along the way. You can visit the quiet village, local monasteries and the surrounding Mountain scenery on arrival in Manang before spending the night in Manang.

Explore Manang Valley

This day is dedicated to acclimatisation, sightseeing and exploring around Manang Valley. You will explore the beautiful Gangapurna lake, nearby monasteries, traditional Himalayan villages and enjoy the unique lifestyle and culture of the local people of Manang. For additional stunning views and photo opportunities, it is also possible to take optional short hikes around the valley. With its tranquil setting and stunning vistas, Manang is one of the most iconic places in the Annapurna area.

Drive Back to Kathmandu


After having our breakfast, we will begin our return journey from Manang to Kathmandu. Driving once again through rugged mountain roads, rivers, forests, waterfalls, and traditional villages, you can enjoy the final views of the Annapurna region before reaching Kathmandu by evening with unforgettable memories of the Himalayan adventure.
